About Your Provider
I have always felt called to help others. That is why I decided to pursue my dream of being a massage therapist.
I was blessed to attend and graduate from East West College of the Healing Arts in 2003. I am trained in Swedish Massage, Pregnancy Massage, and Deep Tissue. My favorite special modalities learned are Craniosacral and Myofascial Release. My other therapeutic training is in Cupping, Hot Stone Therapy, Gua Sha, and Sound Bathing. All of the modalities I offer are trauma informed, meaning that communication is given and received with the an understanding of and responsiveness to the impact of trauma of each of my clients.
I am an empath and HSP (Highly Sensitive Person) which means that all my 5 senses are heightened. When giving a massage, I channel the energy flow and feel along with the recipient. Using my gifts of intuition along with my education, my desire is to assist in the healing of others and help them to nurture their peaceful existence.
I create balance within by practicing and teaching yoga. Yoga has been a part of my life since I was a student at East West. It has brought me peace for much of my life and I wanted to be able to share that with others. I completed my Yoga Teacher Training in 2021 with the goal in mind to incorporate massage with yoga practice. I am trained in Vinyasa, Yin, and Kids Yoga. My passion is with my personally developed Yoga Massage® asana.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors camping, hiking and exploring nature with my family. I love creating art of many kinds. I am an animal lover with 2 fluffy kitties, an Australian Shepherd dog, 11 chickens and a cute little hamster.
My vision of The Healing Garden is to provide trauma informed alternative healthcare services to nurture a peaceful existence.
